MacOS

I have heard that macs defrags hds automatic, but I hate automation, so I wonder is there a program that I can run monthly or weekly without mac autodefrag? I wan’t to see and know what is going om with my hd.

i have toshiba laptop with me which is running windows XP proffessional.i want to install MAC OS in that laptop. is it possible?. can i download MAC OS X 11 for free ?
